Absolutely not. It is worse elsewhere. At least in South Ealing the Police WILL come. Some village in the middle of the country and you are basically in trouble. The most important thing is to know what is happening and to make appropriate representations to the local ward councillors and the MPs. Most of the houses are too small to be converted into flats or studio flats and are still occupied by families. North of the University of West London its basically studio flats (bedsits of old).True we could do with a couple of establishments relocated elsewhere, and how many bettings shops do we actually need?I am betting on Olde Ealing, that is Little Ealing, South Ealing, a bit of Brentford that used to be Ealing and Northfields as hanging together as the cuts continue to hit services, expecially the police.
