Tapas Restaurant in South Ealing Rd

Finally found someone to go with me last night and we were very pleased. The place was really busy, which seemed amazing for 7pm on a Wednesday, but service was quick and the food very good except for perhaps rather too bland tortilla.

If it's run by the people who had the wonderful and much missed Siesta in Bond Street, it should be good, though perhaps a fiver for a few cubes of potato needs rethinking!

It would be nice if it was the same as La Siesta. However, the Indian restaurant I was referring to was the short lived Dosa.

'Isn't it the same people who had the Indian restaurant that was there before?'Ah, that would be the long gone but fondly remembered Sitar, I expect. But no - my spies tell me is is owned/run by the folks who used to have La Siesta, another Tapas bar that was located in Bond Steet a few years ago. Dunno whether that's true or not, though.

YesFantasticThis could be a local jem in the making.Obviously you need to have your head around the tapas concept and appreciate it's lots of little dishes you're after. They've done a great job on the interior you'd never know it was Leon's at all.Food is spot on, service is great, vino a tocuh on the toppy side but acceptable and when I went there last Friday it was a really good atmosphereGood luck to them - I'll be back
