Serious police incident closes Phoenix Business Park Ealing Rd. Screwfix/Toolstation closed

All the shops in the Phoenix Business Park on the Ealing Road are closed following a serious police incident.The whole business park is taped off with over a dozen shops like Screwfix and Toolstation closed until further notice.The incident started this morning with the discovery of a firearm. According to the police it is a serious incident and the business park will not repone today. It has been like a ghost-town today.An employee of one of the companies said that a gun had been found in the Pghoenix Business Park.The Toolstations and Screwfixes in Southall and Park Royal are open as I have been to both today after two unsuccessful attempts to visit the business park.

A forensics van has arrived at the taped off entrance to Phoenix Park. A single forensics officer is photographing the road surface just inside the taped off line.The shop signs are lit up. There are shop vans standing by the shops. But there is nobody to be seen.It is like the Pink Floyd lyric: "Is there anybody out there"
