Ealing Classic Cinema's Best Films of All Time
Thought it was a brilliant idea of the Ealing Classic Cinema club to have a season of the best films of all time. I attend another club on Friday evenings so sadly can't get to these screenings but was very interested in their choices. Three I agree with - Some Like It Hot, Citizen Kane and Singing in the Rain. Two I do not Kes is a great film but I probably wouldn't rank it that highly and A Bout de Souffle is a film I never really understood the attraction of.Shamefully the other three I have never seen (or even heard of in some cases). My replacement 5 would be in no particular orderThe Godfather I/IIIt's A Wonderful LifeNorth By North WestSound of MusicJean de Florette/Manon des SourceBreakfast at Tiffany's would be in there but for the appearance of Mickey Rooney.
