Longfield Ave left v right turn scheme is a PH legacy a prelim for the cycle routes round the town centre. It comes out opposite the defunct cinema site..another PH legacy. This was joined to the old YMCA site which should have housed 50 people with hostel accommodation but has remained empty for 5 years...another PH legacy. The Arcadia 1 (Morrisons and TKMax) enquiry where council lost another PH legacy...an acceptable scheme but with a clock you can't read...another PH legacy. What was PH's role? Planning and Regeneration supremo. Anyone know of any more madcap schemes forged by him in the South of France at MIPIM? You'll be pleased to know he is on his horse and legging it to East London leaving a trail of manure behind them.
