Pitshanger Park River Spring Clean Up

It's the Great British Spring Clean.  A local one has been organised on SUNDAY 5 MARCH.Details here:http://www.greatbritishspringclean.org.uk/eventdetails/2706?id=1185"Join Thames 21, Ealing’s Park Rangers, and with the support of the Pitshanger Community Association, in cleaning up the River Brent which runs through this much loved park. Help create an inviting space for people and wildlife, no experience necessary, all tools will be provided (including boots and waders if you fancy a dip!), just turn up on the day and be prepared to get stuck in! Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult."

Not up to speed yet after a fall on rocking and raised paving stone in the summer. I do do the occasional litter pick but it is much more fun to do it as a team - even if it is just a team of two!

I did visit as a regular user to the park & cleared some rubbish. Amazing the amount there was in the short time I stayed. Was hoping to meet you & say hello Mrs B -:)
