Loss of Morrisons in Brentford - Online Petition
Another rather inappropriate development is planned for Brentford.This will involve the loss of Morrisons Supermarket for up to 3 years as well as parking. Its replacement is uncertain, as is it's exact size but will have reduced parking capacity and the development itself is oversized and ghastly. Right on the edge of a Conservation area and nearby historic buildingsA packed local meeting of Brentford residents revealed 100% concern at the plans.There are local campaigners collecting signatures for an old fashioned paper petition at Morrisons location.There is also an online petition athttp://petitions.hounslow.gov.uk/morrisons/Please don't sign both versions. But do please take the time to have a look and sign if you are in agreement.But a large number of customers of the supermarket come from South Ealing, Northfields, and Boston Manor and are entitled to have a say.
