Found a child's violin on Raymond Avenue. It is in a case but missing any means of identification. Do you know of anyone who has lost one? Will contact nearby schools.

No. They no longer have the resources. We need to take more care in putting some method of identification on our stuff in case we lose it.PAYG mobile phones seem to be a problem especially when they have a pin no.

Do the police no longer deal with lost property?

Doesn't sound like Ealing Strings will be much help then! There used to be a shop hiring instruments called ABC Music in Kew.How about Ealing Junior Music School?http://ejms.org.uk/#page=home and there used to be another.
Thank you for the suggestions. Have sent emails to both, although Ealing Strings has relocated to Edgware! Am also waiting for a response from Ealing Music Service who loan instruments.

How about contacting Gardonyi's and Ealing Strings where a violinist would go for strings and rosin? Both addresses are in the Directory on this website.

No, nothing positive yet. I'm trying to join the Facebook group 'Northfield Friends' and try a different audience.
Did you have any luck finding the owner?
