Recycling and Rubbish Collection Day Calendar

Well I've followed the instructions on the sheet received inside Around Ealing and I can't find the calendar supposed to be available from 1 December.I can see that the Christmas and New Year Collections schedule is on the back of Around Ealing.Come on LBE let's have some LEADERSHIP and TEAMWORK on this!

The Christmas schedule was/is on the back of Around Ealing which is delivered to homes - but guess what - there are an awful lot of people who complain about that as being a waste of money.  Personally I think it is a good reminder of ALL the things that the Council is responsible for instead of just the recycling and waste which always seems to be what everybody thinks of first.You can read Around Ealing online here.  It would probably save the Council a lot of money if they didn't produce it but of course only a few people would bother to access it online.  There are many media and everybody has their own favourite.http://ealingnewsextra.co.uk/around-ealing/and you can ask for your own copy on this page if you didn't get one.

there to busy with there Christmas office parties and showing off that it's going to take three years to build us a cinema but you are right they should be telling everyone by post to there house

I would think its the Councils job to supply this information direct to its customers,after all we are paying for the service by way of the Community Charge which is too high anyway.

I don't think a printer is that important.  After all, for any given household, you only have to jot down a single date for each effected week. Best integrated with your normal calendar.

Those of us who don't have wheelie bins don't get a calendar just get a schedule so have to run off the calendar for a neighbour with wheelie bins for us.  I'm sorry I was overreacting but after all that clicking to find that it didn't work for me was frustrating.  I've got over it now. :)  Didn't manage to make it A5 but I may have time to have another look.  Heaven help anybody without a computer and without a printer.  (Not that I have either but have had access.  :))  It is something else as to whether I have time to share with anybody without...

It is possible to print off one's street's 'recycling calendar' as a pdf document on the Council website.(i)  Go here:https://www.ealing.gov.uk/site/custom_scripts/waste_collection/waste_collection.aspx(ii) Enter your postcode in the grey box.(iii) Click 'address lookup' (green box).(iv) Under the red 'please select your address' is a drop down box, click that and select your property number.(v)  Click (green box) 'show my collection day'.(vi)  Click (green box) 'show my collection calendar'.  You will be presented with a pdf document (2 pages) that shows Dec 2016 to Nov 2017 (inclusive) collection dates for your property.

We got a leaflet, and it's published in the council's magazine that we all get (which is also quite a good read!).Should be easier to find on the website though.
