Rupa Huq condemnation of Stalins genocide in Ukraine

I commend our MP's condemnation in the House of Commons of Stalins genocidein Ukraine .I would ask her to be careful of her associateship with Mr Corbyn who's friends Murray,Milne and Mc Cluskey are open admirers of Josef Stalin and his regime of terror.

Malcolm Muggeridges accounts of the chicken bones were probably censored. Big power and big money always talks loudest; remember that the Polish Army and Air Force who fought in the Allied Armies and in the Royal air Force were NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE in the public victory celebrations and parades in London and the U.K. at the end of the Second World War for fear of upsetting our communist Soviet allies, i.e. Joe Stalin. Instead, Poland was left to languish under half a century of Soviet Communist oppression when Churchill and Roosevelt backtracked on the British promise to free Poland from the Germans which is what started the Second World War!

Of course they do. We all have our own prejudices and explanations for what happens in the world and even in the face of incontrovertible evidence to the contrary, we just dig in our heels and dismiss the truth.

Malcolm Muggeridge was the Guardian's Moscow correspondent and witnessed Ukrainians scrambling to get chicken bones thrown from his train. He sent report to Manchester. It was not published. Muggerige concluded that people believe lies, not because they have to, but because they want to.

So what..? I can hardly  imagine that Putin is seething with anger at such an important UK politician (ahem) highlighting this atrocity 60 odd years later. Anyone with any ounce of humanity thinks that this was appalling and disgraceful. What is her point, exactly and how does it move the Labour forward? I suggest her energies might be better employed in serving her constituents and helping to make her party into a viable opposition instead of the perceived shambles that it is.
