Remembrance Poppies

If you frequent Waitrose West Ealing, come and say hello to my colleague George on the morning shift, or this old codger in the blue mobility scooter from about 2pm - and get your poppy of course!    Last year between us, we raised several thousand pounds, thanks to the kind, friendly and generous customers who make our efforts such a pleasure.   It would be nice to meet fellow 'Ealing Today' ites

I got a Remain sticker at Waitrose on June 23rd.Can you promise me that the poppy will work better?

My husband and I met George in Waitrose yesterday, he seemed a really friendly gentleman.Unfortunately for me my poppy got lost somewhere between West Ealing and the train station.Luckily I still have one or two from previous years.Those small pins are not really secure, are they?

Good for you ROY. Still helping out although not 100% fit.  Shall be wearing my poppies from today onwards... Have quite a collection now. Pity not many shops or pubs sell poppies these days. if any !!

ha you shouldnt have advertised the fact as I have to get some shopping for my mum there later ( regretfully, not a shopping fan but thats a different topic)I can have a rant about the Fifa nonsense regarding the England Scotland match on 11/11 & we can right the wrongs between us
