Green Boxes should be going to schools/scouts for their Gardening Clubs
Schools are just going back after half-term and teachers may need reminding that this is a great chance to collect some free planters for their Gardening Clubs.My niece is a primary school teacher and was always looking for stuff for growing projects at school. This is a great opportunity. The green boxes make good planters for vegetables and herbs and the black bins are good for growing potatoes and according to Thompson & Morgan you can still plant and grow Charlottes. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth!Karen Liebreich of Cultivate London is looking for 10-20 for a community project and Kim Rugg on www.actonw3 is looking for some. Oaklands Primary are taking some too/Can we interest anybody else before they are all gone?
