Ealing Council in Private Eye over Heller House
The Council has made Rotten Boroughs in an item entitled 'No Respite'. The Eye have taken up the story covered previously on this site about the woman who was phoned by social services in a cardiology ward and asked to make provision for her autistic son. The article says that despite having a population of 330,000 the Council are making provision for only 6 cases of children in the age bracket 10-18 this year who would need the kind of services provided by Heller House and that falls to 4 next year.
