Survey on how to best spend £900,000 allocated to Acton Town Centre

My wife and I filled out a survey this morning outside of Morrison's in relation to Ealing Council having successfully secured £900,000 funding, through The Mayor of London’s High Street Fund and New Homes Bonus, to implement a programme of interventions to help transform and enhance the character of Acton town centre, into a more attractive, functional, vibrant, welcoming area. They invite us to share our views and expertise using an online consultation. I was very disappointed that the Council appeared to have pulled the plug on the social enterprise Accession.  That helped teach skills - only it seemed to me that not enough people knew about it.

I looked at the website, (which seemed incredibly slow).How about a shop selling only top quality goods manufactured in Britain?If they can't find enough, design and manufacture more in the shop?If they are unable to do that, teach the design, engineering, and manufacturing skills required.Otherwise open loads of shops selling cheap and nasty goods manufactured elsewhere, as we are unable to compete.

The way crime is going in Acton I would suggest spending it on extra policing.
