Southall forum?

My wife and I are on the verge of buying a house in Southall. We'd love to get some advice about local tradespeople and similar services, as we're likely going to do some work on the house, but I can't seem to find a local forum for the area that's like this one.Can anyone recommend any Southall-based discussion or advice groups? I've always wondered whether the EalingToday forum is meant to be Borough wide or just Ealing Town?  As there is a separate Acton forum presumably the latter?

Is there a street life? I know it's more active in areas where there's no NeighbourNet.
