Well I think Chalotte's W5 have hit on a great concept that even I was skeptical about until I went there. The idea of different sized plates is novel but as they explained, it's like a English tapas. We went as a big group of about 15 and as a result tried most of the items which appealed on the menu, then the plates we liked best we ordered more of. It definitely changed the dining dynamic, it was an immersive experience where everyone commented on each dish, with lots of oooh have you tried pork..or the cod..or whatever. Certainly no wastage, everything was polished off between us, those with big appetites were as satisfied as those with small. And naturally the food was fantastic. I really think it's my favourite Charlotte's now, which is good, it's my closest too! Anyway back on topic, yes I assume they got a great deal from the developer, who wouldn't want to buy a flat with a fantastic restaurant right beside you?
