Big emergency services call out - what's up in Greenford

Midday: red air ambulance/police helicopter?, fire enginre, three ambulances and four police cars taping off the Greenford Road north of The Broadway/Ruislip Road East Junction. Does anyone know what happened/is happening there?

the Costons Lane jct Greenford Ave is a very dangerous jct, I have seen the aftermath of many accidents over the years, sadly.Cars need to take a wide turn to avoid mounting the kerb & consequently meet vehicles head on turning right in the dedicated lane. There simply is not enough road width for 3 vehicles.When the junction was rennovated a few years back, I imagined it would be widened so cars could turn safely on their own side ( theres a vast grass area going to waste)unfortunately this was deemed to sensible an idea & not implemented
