I think it's been mentioned before, but this is a really ancient style of Forum and it makes following long threads very time-consuming. If a way could be found to provide a lnk to a proprietary Forum Hosting site, such as ProBoards (a free site but with advertising), where each topic can be shown in its own section and can be read sequentially without needing to wait for the system to reload between requests this would make the Forum much more user-friendly.I subscribe to one such Forum and if applied to these borough fora, each borough can have its own main heading and each topic its own sub heading:For example,(Primary Layer) - 'West London's local fora'(Secondary - 'Ealing ', 'Chiswick', etc(Tertiary) - 'individual topic heading', etc.Topics can be created in similar fashion to now, but the overall experience of using the Forum would be immesurably better.I believe such a system can be operated with or without 'moderation', but would need coordination between present 'owners' to set up.Something to think about, perhaps?
