Someone is far more likely to get injured if they don't park on the pavement. The further these guys walk carrying cash, the greater risk they are at.So are members of the public.I know.I used to drive these vans, and in the time I did this job, I was robbed at gunpoint 14 times.3 of those times I was shot at, but fortunately not injured. In that same period, from the branch where I worked, 3 of my colleagues were shot and killed. One was shot through the neck and paralysed from the chest down.Another was crippled after being shot in the thigh at point blank range with a shotgun. The shot tore the entire muscle away from the bone. Many more were shot and injured or had amonia thrown in their face. Two others were stabbed. So it might be inconvenient for people if the vans drive up on the pavement, but in the long run by doing that, it actually makes it safer for everyone. You don't want to be anywhere near an armed robbery I can assure you.
