HS2 event Perivale 3 December 2015
For those who've heard nothing about it there's a consultation event in Perivale today: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/hs2-information-event-3rd-december-2015-perivale They've lumbered Greenford with a vent - more HGV traffic as spoil is removed, no guarantee the work won't go on at all hours as it will be sited in an industrial park (how far will the noise carry?) and dust and grime from a massive spoil pile drifting about. Anyone living in the section of Greenford Road between Rockware Avenue and the Flyover should take an interest, as well as those living in Uneeda Drive and Bennetts Avenue. Apart from that there are concerns that the tunnel won't be deep enough.
