I can understand the normal desire to keep traffic moving and all the safety bits. but some is pure money making. Where residents object to other folk parking in front of their houses the council pounces on a money making opportunity. Over the years the way wardens treat disabled drivers has been appalling. you would get a ticket if the blue badge was displayed at an angle. however my late girlfriend used to appeal these and the council would say they are using their discretion. but illegal tickets should not be given out in the first place. I am a paranoid parker. if you can receive a ticket then you will. however dropping people at the Ealing Broadway station was a private company and the council would say that the tickets had no legal standing.

And why shouldn't they ? Illegal parking is the same, should we allow people to only break the law for a few minutes ? 2 minutes is fine but 3 minutes not?

im saying there are a lot of soft targets. They swarm around Gurnell Leisure Centre, broken down cars are ticketed, delivery trucks,Someone dropped at Ealing BDWY for seconds receives a ticket a week later from a hidden camera

Its a disgrace, the sneaky tactics of wardens & PCNs through your door a week later.Carrying out everyday work is a nightmare, you cannot park anywhere without being ticketedI wonder what exactly the revenue gets used on
