LED Lightbulbs

There are increasing amounts of really efficient LED lightbulbs available now - including from online retailers, DIY shops and general hardware stores.Does anyone have a preferred brand, make / type or place / website to buy them?  I've looked at some of the Amazon and John Lewis reviews etc and I'm still not sure that paying £15, say, gets you a better bulb than paying £5.I'm specifically looking for several "standard" bayonet fittings (B22) at 60 watt and 100 watt equivalents.  I also use ES22 fittings and need some 60 watt equivalents in that size.Thanks!

"10watt bayonet fitting LED bulb from Poundland for a pound."You really need to check the light output in lumens.  Cheaper LED bulbs are often less bright than the bulbs you want to replace.  Try LED Hut which is a supplier that I have used and trust.

Can't find the £9.99 Screwfix offer though they have ten GU10 spots for about £23. Toolstation seems to be more reasonable with branded LED bulds in the two pound to three pound region. I wonder how long the supermarkets and larger stores are going to be able to justify £10 per bulb!!!!

I think Screwfix have five of those tiny LED spot lights for £9.99. The market is commoditizing and if Poundland is selling them for a pound then the wholesale price must be much less. So how much profit are othe companies making?

B&Q have expanded their own brand "Diall" range and now have quite an extensive range.  Not as cheap as a £1 though.  I did read a few moths ago that Ikea were planning to go totally LED in the not too distant future.
