Murphy's in Popes Lane ... for ever?
Does anyone know what's happening with Murphy's, who have dug up Popes Lane yet again close to Travis Perkins. Despite the sign that says 'for three weeks', the hole has now been there for almost a month and they have now built themselves a 'house'! I walked past a couple of days ago and saw a 'worker' sitting comfortably on a chair, playing with his phone! Is the housing shortage such that Murphy's workers have taken up residence in Popes Lane? What's going on?
