Launderette on Boston Rd

I was there today to use the drier. Around nine machines were out of order. I was reminded of a recent visit to Berlin. I found an amazing launderette, a comfy cafe with food & drink (inc alcohol) and wireless. The "business" bit was a separate room at the rear with a central console where you selected what machines you wanted and could buy cupful a of power and condirioner.  What a difference.

I got abused by a lady in the launderette in Hanwell when I took my clothes in to dry and asked for some change. She said she didn't have any then moaned at a bloke and referred to me as a "drier", which I presume is a class of people she identifies as a homogeneous group.Not wanting to downplay a serious matter, but I felt like I was a victim of predjudice.
