Boston Manor Park "consultation"

I'm sure I remember them being involved in some other "consultation" locally... Ah yes, here it is - the "report" on Gunnersbury Park which appeared to be loosely cobbled together from public-domain material (yes, I did read the thing), and which recommended flogging off 5.6 acres of the park to developers.I fully expect the Boston Manor "report" to recommend financing rebuilding the house by selling half the park to GSK for a new multi-storey car park, or somesuch. Does anyone here have any idea why LBH is still employing these particular consultants?

Apologies Pat, problem with the written word, which can often be misunderstood.I meant "you" in the collective, general sense, not you as an individual.I don't think there are many naive residents left in Ealing/Acton, been stitched up by our own "caring" Council too many times, too often.

He said categorically not?So you can rest completely assured that some of the park will definitely be sold off.Unless you are completely naive this is exactly how our Council works.

Hopefully not. But a consultant only makes recommendations to the powers that make the decisions.

I went to the consultation in the Park yesterday and asked the Jura representative specifically if this would result in any part of the Park being sold off.  He said categorically not.
