Need help to find my School records, Dates. Ealing College Upper School, Ealing as they have closed.

Hello, I live in Dorset now, I am relocating to USA and to get any employment and get through paper sift of jobs. I must show dates of when and where I attended School from start to finish . I was at Ealing College Upper School, 83 The Avenue, Ealing, London W13 8JS from 1978 to 1980.Can any one help please ?  Or have contact with Ex Teachers or Some sort of official Records as I need a official letter just to show dates of attending School. I had good attendance at School and got on well with teachers and pupils.

Hi, I have tried them and its a no as they closed. Also tried Slough because went to school there is a no to, I have tried Kew archives, every one is saying how sorry they can not help me. Any other suggestions to you or the others that replied please ?

Might also be worth trying the Local History dept at Ealing Central Library.  I happen to know that they hold quite a few records for Ealing Green / Ealing Grammar schools, which closed in the 1990s.Dr Jonathan Oates020 3700 1055ealing.localhistory@carillionservices.co.uk

You could look on the internet - there are records at the Nationla Archive at Kew, Search for Ealing College Upper School and from the list of sites see url: discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk for further information.You could also look for anything about the 'Former Pupils' Association, members of the Committee of which may be able to assist.Hope this helps.

Maybe start with the Education department of Ealing Council? I don't know for sure but they must keep records.
