estate agent boards left up too long
The law states that 4 weeks after completion, or letting of a property, the board should be removed. If you notice anyone constantly contravene this, you may report it (preferably including a photo and location of the offending board) to planningenforcement@ealing.gov.uknot only do (multiples of) these boards look unsightly and "drag an area down", but where rusty nails are left sticking out of Victorian garden walls (often at child /dog height - take a walk along Windsor Road), and crumbling has occurred due to constant hammering and removal, safety hazards are causedIf no-one bothers to report this "breach of planning control"(here I quote a technical support officer at Ealing Council that I was in contact with today) then the offending Agents have no incentive to stick to the rules. I know not all of them get up to these tricks, there is one I know personally who doesn't bother putting a board up where there are absolutely loads, it just makes the area look "desperate" and I have noticed he is one who DOES observe the law (company name starts with S)
