No more Blood Tests at Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals

The above topic is on Acton W3 forum today!Posted by Tony ComptonJust got a text message from Crown Street Surgery to say that all Blood Tests would now be carried out at Hillingdon Hospital as opposed to rocking up at Hammersmith or Charing Crossts Hospital.Do they really expect patiens to travel all the way to Hillingdon Hospital in Uxbridge???Madness!

I don't understand.  I'm able to get a blood test at our GP's practice surgery, where they still take the blood and send it somewhere(it used to be Hammersmith Hosp) and the result is sent back to our GP's practice.

My GP sends samples collected at the practice to Hillingdon Hospital now, they used to be sent to Ealing Hospital.
