How is it that I get to hear all about events and a raft of trivial insignificant things from Ealing Council but never a hoot from them when it comes to things that affect us...especially financially or how we live our lives?We have 4 cars, two on the drive with permits and our daughters have a car each.They currently reside here, it is their home as well as ours but they lead independent lives, they both work, pay tax and both work long hours and travel by car when the anti social hours require.So which one pays more? And why?So residents parking in residents parking zone is now a problem? Is this utterance from the same mouth that stated residents parking is underused and makes permits available to non residents?This councillor is not just stupid and sly but also a hypocrite.Will you be giving free permits to over 75s, Carers and visitor permits for non car access pensioners from the money raised which is supposed to be not for profit?And yes as mentioned by another, This should be consulted to all CPZ zone residents.What people agreed to is what people agreed to as proposed and negotiated.They / We did not agree to this moving of the goal posts.Mr Mahfouz if this is the best you can manage then you are incompetent. Be true to yourself for once, and resign.
