Private MRI scan needed - any recs?

I need to get a scan done nearish in the evenings. Does anyone know of anywhere reputable? Thanks

You could try The Clementine Churchill Hospital Sudbury. Had all my scopes and scans there. Parking free and plenty of it in lovely leafy surroundings. !!

The BMI Syon clinic on the Great West Road do MRI scans. Not sure what the cost is but they are very efficient and I'm sure you wouldn't have to wait long.

the CLinic in W EAling provides a good service, and your GP can organise an NHS MRI within a week or so (ie free cf £300+)http://www.inhealthgroup.com/location/inhealth-diagnostic-centre-ealingit might be worth asking your GP if an MRI is the appropriate investigation for your problem.Get a disc copy  - good idea.

The most sophisticated MRI in the country is located at The Epilepsy Centre, based in Chalfont St. Peter. The centre is recognised by The World Health Organisation as a centre of excellence. I'm not sure if they see self referral patients.

Yes they are extremely expensive and in great demand but I didn't want to wait in hospital for possibly days until I could get a slot.

My GP recommended an MRI scan for my condition - he chose Charing X Hosp for me.  Following that I had an MRI scan in Ealing Hosp.Btw, I asked the MRI technician/operators how much the MRI scanners cost - they said at least £1Million each. I was surprised and impressed.

I had one done on my spine at the London Bridge Hospital 3 years ago and they seemed very professional.  Not precisely "near" but very close to the station, in Tooley Street.They were very accommodating over appointment times.The Consultant who referred me told me to insist on being given a CD of the scan.  He said it could be worth its weight in gold in future years if my back gets worse and a comparison is required.Is your GP able to recommend a place he or she rates?
