Bonjour Matelot Gerry! It's a bit more bucolic mess than bliss,it's nearly always raining,we can't keep on top of the garden,neither it seems can 3 different sets of gardeners. But yes we still like living here esp. on the 2 sunny days we get a year,we've been here 15 years now. Do I miss Ealing? Yes but that's the Ealing of the raggedy arsed 50s and 60s. but they've been gone a long time. I asked my wife if she'd like to "Go South" a couple of weeks back,she unhesitatingly said "Yes but not to London",so we've booked a couple of holidays in the Norfolk area to see what's what on the housing front,places with a reasonable sized garden,just big enough for my amateur radio aerials and nearer the magnetic grandchildren!
