There has been some activity inside the Players Bar (the defunct bar opposite the garage in Northfield Ave) .Anyone know what's going on with it?

Warm welcome and the place has really been spruced up. A little bright though and 2 TVs on all night plus very boring beer selection. Still good to see it open and I hope it's a success

The area needs a bar with reasonable drink prices,the local "gastro" type places are to expensive for the working class man/woman,pensioners and me.

A new sign is up and it's still 'Players' exciting times in Northfield avenue
There was a rumour on facebook that it was to be a wine bar. Work seemed to have stalled ages ago but it still looks like it's going to be a bar of some kind. Hope it works out as there's not a great choice on Northfield Avenue itself
