Which is the most reliable and popular gas boiler for domestic central heating requirements - and reasonably priced please? Which brand do you have for your heating?

I have an Ideal boiler that has been fault free for 22+ years. A friend in Brentford had an Ideal fitted about 5 years ago and his new one runs a lot cheaper than mine.

Vaillant are good. German engineering. Whether you think the prices are reasonable is another matter though I happen to think that quality is generally worth paying for.
