Volunteer Fair 2015

Next Week - Wednesday 3rd June, there will be a Volunteer Fair in the Victoria Hall at Ealing Town Hall, New Broadway, Ealing W5 2BY open to the public from 12.30 to 2.30.  Come along and find out more about volunteering opportunities in the borough!

Unfortunately though they are not necessarily as good at looking after their elderly as other nations are.The elderly can become very isolated as their mobility lessens and technology changes so fast that it is hard to keep up with it.There are many things which become harder as you get older and yet are so easy for youngsters.  If we can't do something on the mobile - we ask a teenager.It can be hard work just keeping in touch with all your friends so that your circle of family and friends stay close and supportive.  Some newer technology can help - if you just knew about and could try it out!

I understand the British are at the top of the league for volunteering for good causes and charities. It seems there're more people volunteering than any other country - a very generous and thoughtful nation.
