Mr Burnham favourite?

Main bookmakers are making Mr Andy Burnham the favourite to succeed Mr Ed Milliband.  Is Andy Burnham a new more modern Tony Blair?  It'll be interesting to see this latest struggle for the new Labour leadership. I wish there would be more candidates from which to choose.  Opinions?

& how are candidates chosen?? Surely there needs to be some form of democratic vote for the people to decide who they want to represent them
