Gunnersbury park development

...I've had another look at the presentation and it really annoys me that the 8 floodlit tennis courts don't feature in the illustrative drawings...it's this sort of thing that makes me feel manipulated and doubt the process.

Thanks for pointing this out - the simple benefits and beauty of an open space and vista are overlooked - the project keeps using the phrase "there is a deficiency of sports facilities" but what about the deficiency of accessible open space(as Walpole and Lammas become increasingly over-managed).I can see the need to spend some money on the sports changing facilities but not the floodlit tennis courts at the top of the park.(the future of the golf course changes each time it's mentioned, and a few years back there was a plan proposed to build a sports centre next to the Potomac, supported by Brentford FC !)
