New windows required - UPVC and wooden

Hi I need a total of 6 windows replacing. 4 have to be sash and made of wood, 2 can be UPVC or wood.I haven't got any contacts and would welcome some recommedations from other forum members who have had a great experiance with window companies used in the recent past.Look forward to hearing back from you all. I can recommend atleast two very good window installation companies that have worked for me in Ealing before.Only snag is their minimum order is 8 windows,are you in a flat ? if so they are happy to quote for your immediate neighbour aswell,this gets over the minimum order and the discount is excellent.

We had all windows and French doors replaced two years ago by Ultralux in Whitton. They are an established family firm. Their telephone no is 020 8945 4540. They did a very good job and would recommend them. We did ask Peerless to quote but they failed to arrive on two separate occasions.

We've just had three large box sashes replaced with wooden framed spring loaded sashes by Peerless in Northfield Avenue. Excellent work. The one in the kitchen must have been a nightmare to fit but looks great. Not cheap though.We also had windows at the back replaced with double glazed UPVC by JK Windows (showroom Hounslow). Very happy with these as well. Theirs was also the cheapest quote.
