Which is the best restaurant that offers the most comfortable seating, good value menu, the best tasting food, has the most pleasant ambience and has efficient waiting staff?

Had a very pleasant evening at Dante's recently. Considering how oddly run down Ealing Common is, it's a little jewel. Very reasonable prices too.

Dante's near Ealing Common station for their stone self cooked Fillets and pasta dishes. Also, Duke of Kent recently has been excellent - especially the comfortable seating and the garden.

I like Piccola Italia - good food and very reasonable prices.

My family have just reminded me of another two good reliable restaurants in Ealing - one of them is a well known "chain" eatery ie Carluccios - the other is fiercely independent ie Osteria del Portico(both at Ealing Green on High Street).

Actually I've just thought of another - Kiraku in Ealing common. Lovely sushi!

There are some interesting replies here. We agree that Papaya(corner of Northfield and Elers) is always good quality(our Sri Lankan neighbours rate it highly) and we get a good experience at Cote(yes its a chain). More opinions please.
Lisa's in Pitshanger lane. great quality food , fantastic service and excellent value.

For me Charlotte's Place every time. Depends what we're comparing to...compared to central London fine dining, it's incredible value for money for what they offer.Second choice would be Papaya on Northfield Avenue. Authentic South Indian/Sri Lankan food, freshly cooked, good service and good value.

Has EPT got better under the new owners? Last time I went it was shocking! I like the Hair and Tortoise, great selection, quick service and it is a great price.Rose and Crown for pint with food. Cote look's good but it is a chain and I think that shows.

Can we start another massive a Ealing Park Taverb thread?!?!It's my current top choiceBe interested to hear about other spots in the borough like Pitshanger etc as I've not ventured those areas for a long time.I'm mainly South Ealing and the Broadway

Honestly, right now I'd say Cote. Charlotte's place is great but hardly cheap, ditto EPT, Walpole etc.
