Well, it's 12:10 and I have spend most of the day putting leaflets through doors, oh the glamour of politics at the grass roots. For me it's all about the economy, any other issue comes from that. You want more money for trains? Doctors? Nurses? Benefits? Limestone slabs? As a country we have to make it.The public sector does not has never and will never generate wealth. To generate wealth you need the private sector; to decide how that wealth should be split, you need a democratic Government. What worries me is that the current Labour leadership do not understand that difference and the essential demarcation in it. They want to intervene in how the wealth is made. Government trying to tell business to operate simply does not work.Ronald Regan once said that the scariest words in the English language were "I'm from the Government, I'm here to help" I agree with him.I hear that Rupa Huq is an amiable enough type, and nobody's fool, but I have been largely impressed with Angie bray and would like to see her back as our representative in Westminster. More importantly, and although I have to hold my nose a little, I would like to see David Cameron back in Downing Street.I believe that the original question was who will win? Simple, nobody knows, it is going to be very very tight.
