Can anyone recommend a good seamstress / tailor to take up two or three pairs of trousers for me?There are some previous recommendations on the forum, but they are fairly "old" by now.Thanks

there is a little shop to the W of Ealing Common station - they did a great repair job on a jacket lining.

Halina at 188b Acton Lane W4 5DL is excellent for these kinds of job - we have had trousers taken, let out, tapered, all so that you'd never know.
