I saw all the spawn and thought how lovely. I walk in the park at least once or twice a day with our dog. Unfortunatly this meant I saw what was removing the spawn....and it was the birds,gulls and ducks, not the workmen clearing the pond.I suspect it would be better to take any spawn from the pond and let it hatch elsewhere before reintroducing the tadpoles. At least I can see why the frogs have to leave so much of it!
