Thank you Cllr. Mark Reen for your valuable contributions to the Planning Committee Meetings.Like Cllr. Frank Impey (Labour) and Cllr. Edward Rennie (Labour), past members of the Planning Committee, you were not afraid to speak your mind to protect the environment from the excesses of unsympathetic developers and the sometimes unwelcome and questionable recommendations of LBE planners.You spoke and voted with integrity  - no three-line whip for you!Residents of the Borough will miss you. Nigel,The bloke the local Conservatives are putting up to replace Mark is called Fabio Conti.  He is a doctor who was brought up in the ward.  He is brilliant.  You really don't need to worry.  Phil
