I would like to thank Cllr. Mik Sabiers and Cllr. Yvonne Johnson for assisting residents in Acton in respect of the "Peacehaven" case (Locally-Listed Building dating from 1883 now subjected to backland development applications for the last 7 years or so) and even though they are from an adjacent Ward.  Likewise, I thank the Ealing & Acton MP who visited the area last week and listened  - whereas the Planning Department staff have been invited to come over to view and see the errors submitted by the British Virgin Islands developers (who previously made a false claim about the division of the garden).  At least, 4 invitations to 3 LBE officers requesting a Site Visit have so far been made by the neighbours  - thus far, to no avail. The Assistant Chief Planning Officer has made comments on the property, which, as far as I know, she has never visited either!Letters sent directly to Ms Aileen Jones all remained unanswered and only after the kind intervention of Cllr. Sabiers, did any response appear at all from her deputy, who does not really know about the property firsthand. My own Complaint to Mr Noel Rutherford re. a Hanwell case mentioned elsewhere on the Ealing Forum (re. misdirection of the Planning Committee by Mr Adrian Harding, the new Major Projects Manager), remains unanswered for 3 months!Perhaps, this is not surprising as Mr Rutherford (who I understand objected to a neighbour about a single-storey end of garden outbuilding built that he said was visible from his own home in Hanwell) told me that my e-mails went to his Spam box or had not been dated so had not been replied to.  In fact, had Mr Rutherford bothered to even read my e-mail letter, he would have seen that I signed and dated it at the end of the document (as is routinely done with Witness Statements, Leases, etc).
