First league win at Blackburn Rovers for.........68 years!!!Onwards and upwards.

Hello from near Birmingham! On the way back - via the M40 because the M1 is closed! - on one of the thirteen coaches paid for by the club. Most are asleep, but I have been woken up by  loud snoring!  Yes we were outplayed by a physical team who kept Pritchard quiet which led to few chances, but it has been an unbelievably good season for the Bees. Time to look forward to next season, and beating that small impoverished team called bad eggs rangers!

You may be back by 4am, but don't think you'll be lucky.Well done to Besotted though as the best my team could do was lay on ''subsidised'' travel to Leicester in a dead rubber.

What ever the outcome of the playoffs clearly Brentford have had two very successful seasons. I know you cannot pick and choose these things but can't help but think that promotion this year would be a little too early to cement a place in the top tier and best achieved when new ground is ready.  I say that as teams that go down from the Premiership often struggle in the Championship - just look at Wigan and Blackpool.

As one of the very few Blackburn Rovers supporters in London (or indeed anywhere!) I congratulate you on the away win - I was at Griffin Pk for the Rovers visit earlier in the season and, frankly, we were pretty abject!Though we might well beat Liverpool on the FA Cup. . . .I hope you have success in the play-offs, the thought of Brentford and Bournemouth in the Premiership is almost surreal
