Would you like to be Julian Bell's new flunky?

Of course if Cllr Bell did his job for Ealing full time he would not need to pay someone the thick end of £45k plus pension contributions to help with "drafting and developing policies". Only a couple of days ago we all heard former and well respected MP offer to sell his influences for a Fee of Thousands to work in the interests of a foreign private company. He later openly defended his actions to the public by stating, he had plenty of spare time on his hands and had the right to do this to enhance his income.I sort of believe there are many like him in parliament and the Local Political Officers . My thoughts have naturally drifted into wondering if they feel there JOB is only PART-TIME in Politics.Why not use our large team of Councillors instead of this New Job?

There's a lovely house in Acton occupied by a council leader who owns a £1million+ house just around the corner that could be used for the benefit of the most vulnerable.But wait, he's far too busy employing an executive gofor and blaming central government cuts to worry about cutting services.If he had any balls he or his mouthpiece would explain this crass decision.
