Top Flight Lofts

Dear All,Has anyone on this Forum, or if you know anyone, ever had a bad experience with Top Flight Lofts between 2005 and 2014?Could you PM me via this site please. I'm doing a bit of research on some history of their works/contracts. Thank you Joanna

They were known locally as TopShyte but I don't understand what that could mean.Anyway.Many loft/building firms use sub contract workers which is OK but if you were asked to pay the sub contract workers directly via stage payments and the sub contractor offers a significant discount for cash,please remember you have contributed to the black economy and the named main building company will not support any warranty as you have entered into a contract with their out sourced contractor operating off a mobile phone.So in this situation a cash discount is not the best money saving procedure. Top Flight are no longer trading after their 3rd (and seemingly final) bankcruptcy. The two guys running it have moved on to other things, but no longer run a loft conversion business

Presume you know they are no longer in business?https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/2109212It may be a genuine liquidation but sometimes loft conversion companies wind up and reform under a different name so they don't have to honour guarantees.

Aren't they one of these franchise types?They won the work and then sub it out to other smaller buildersNot sure if that is the case, and nothing wrong in that if they do. Many smaller builders don't carry the design, the insurance or ability to finance wholesale building jobsAll I do know is Top flight have been around a long time so an established firm
