More Bell 'spin'
http://www.ealingtoday.co.uk/default.asp?section=info&link=http://neighbournet.com/server/common/easurvey001.htmNice to know that the sample of roughly 1 in 150 Ealing residents reveals we are a happy and contented bunch.Bell can't help himself though can he? Mouth open, foot in."The report (also) showed 82% of those questioned were satisfied with the borough as a place to live. The top three reasons given were: quiet area/neighbourhood, friendly neighbours/good people in area and good access to public transport services ."The council has no impact at all on two of these areas (friendly neighbours/ transport links) and limited impact on the other (quiet area). But, oh no, 'our Julian' leaps in with both feet. "“The results show that the residents are very happy with the job Labour is doing running the council"... continues with routine bleat about cuts.As ever totally ignoring the other part of the survey which was clear that the main reasons for dissatisfaction were rubbish or litter - more people complained about this than in 2012 (an increase from 27% to 40%) crime and parking problems (an increase from 25% to to (sic) 30%).Two areas where the Council has direct control but which Bell studiously tries (and fails) to spin his way around.C'mon Jules, must try harder for yourself, and, perhaps once, for the residents of Ealing. How's the two houses by the way, still saying nothing?
