boiler advice

I have a small 2 bedroom house and the Ferroli boiler is on the way out Any suggestions as to a) a good reliable not too expensive boiler b) a good reliable person who would fit and advise

I always use http://www.my-plumber.co.uk/. I had them quote against British Gas for the supply of a Vaillant combi boiler. Very pleased with the results and they don't try and con you like BG do. "Oh a wireless thermostat - that'll cost extra" - "but you don't have to chase a path for the wire and make good afterwards" - "ah yes". And they're local.

Don't know a good local CH fitter or plumber, sorry.  But I'd like to know what are the best domestic heating boilers for a 3 bed, 2 recep average house. And what's the average usual life of a good boiler please. All opinions welcome - thanks.
