Coco restaurant gone

Just noticed that the appalling Coco noodle bar has finally closed down and is being replaced by Kobe Sushi.  A quick Google shows this is not a UK chain.  There are several Kobe Sushi restaurants in the US and Canada but no idea if they are related.  I hope it's not just a rebranding exercise by the criminally run Coco.

Back in '84 Minsky's introduced me to the pleasures of the White Russian cocktail.Ah, fine memories indeed.And their burgers were damn fine as well!  :-)They were much missed by us when they closed down.

Thanks Andy - wow, a dead rat found and recent rat droppings around the premises - they should have been forced to cease trading some time ago imo.Btw, speaking of hygiene, I've been looking up the Food Standards Agency's Hygiene ratings of some of the well-known food outlets and restaurants we frequent in Ealing - some schocking and surprise results!

It said Minsky's last week on the sign. Minsky's was excellent back in the day.Proper old fashioned burger-type restaurant.

Was beyond belief that Coco lasted so long.

Coco was on The Mall a few doors down from the North Star.  It was shut down at least 3 times in the last 5 years because of various infestations and negligent management.
