It may be irrelevant but there is (was) a fairly major water leak in Ealing Broadway near Maplins last week, with one eastbound lane closed off and several pieces of mechanical plant in evidence.Perhaps this caused low pressure elsewhere, particularly if they had to cut off the supply around the burst.
